Giddy Up – It’s a day at the races or Shaun’s tavern.

Melbourne Cup was celebrated in style this year at Shaun’s Tavern, Burpengary.

A buffet lunch was enjoyed by all; everyone was digging deep into their pockets for the sweeps, Calcutta, and raffles.

Louise was the lucky winner for the ‘best fascinator’ competition, Megan won the prize for ‘best shoe’ and Lisa won the lucky door prize.  Unfortunately there were no big wins on the horse races.
