Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)

Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS)

As you may be aware, the government has introduced a Child Dental Benefit Schedule. This provides eligible children (2-17 years) up to $1,000 in benefits for basic dental services. Services that receive a benefit under the program include examinations, xrays, cleaning, fissure sealing, fillings, root canals, extractions and partial dentures. Many of these services have claiming restrictions and can be provided in a public or private setting. Benefits are not available for orthodontic or cosmetic dental work and cannot be paid for any services provided in a hospital.

McCloy Dental has practitioners providing services under this schedule. Services provided under this schedule will be bulk billed up to the benefit cap.

To check your child’s eligibility please contact Medicare on 132 150 or call McCloy Dental on 5495 7988 and our reception staff will be happy to make an appointment for you and check the eligibility.

If you have any questions, or would like to make an appointment at McCloy Dental, please phone 5495 7988.
