Can Implants help me?

Possibly. Would implants fix my teeth? No. Could I have implants? Most likely. Will implants solve my problems?
I’m not sure.
I often get asked these questions via email, or phone. These questions are hard to answer because we need to know what sort of restoration you want. We then need to investigate the site, and work out what treatment will be appropriate. We also have to find a treatment that suits your budget. I can’t do that over the phone. It is much like asking if a builder could build you a house. How big or ornate do you want the house, and what is the land like? The Taj Mahal could not be built on the side of a cliff by a regular chippy. Someone with a great amount of ability could excavate the site and achieve the building, but is that the most appropriate building for that site.
Implant restorations could be fixed crown and bridge work, or a removable denture, or a fixed denture, possibly with porcelain teeth. There may be 1, 2, 4, 6 , or 10 implants in each arch to achieve this. The different restorations come in a range of prices just as cars or houses do. We try work out an array of treatment options to suit each patient.
So will what John Doe had done suit me? Possibly, if you have the same bone, the same aesthetic demands, and the same budget, then the same treatment will suite you. However there may be a better option for you, or a different option. We need to see you to determine that the treatment is the most appropriate for you.
